Can anybody decode the following chelsea pto model and drive gear number?

Model RNK 7-14 and drive gear p/n 5P273.

I got it for free, would like to know if I can use it on my NP205. It's a forward/neutral/reverse model single speed. Thanks,

chealsea is an Eaton company
they have the best websites
every manual is there

I look through all of those, but again they are different model numbers. The model 340 is a forward/reverse model but looking through the parts list for that model does not yeild the input gear I have. I actually looked through all the 6 bolt parts manuals looking for the input gear mine has. It also seems they changed the design slightly as most if not all of the ptos have a cover for checking backlash. This older one does not. I was hoping someone would have access to older manuals.

Thanks, here's a pic, it's upside down:

I have a line on another slightly different model number pto w/ an 8000lb winch.

The PTO guru wasn't in today, he should be in tomorrow. If not, I'll hit up the shelves where the manuals are and see what I can see...

I would call a truck dealership like Mack, Kenworth ect. and get ahold of the parts dept. Ask them where they have PTO work done and get parts. They should be able to put ya in touch with a shop that deals in PTO's that is local.
There should be more than a few in your area.
To set the backlash on that style of PTO it has to be mounted on a tranny with 2 PTO provisions.
You have to go through the hole on the other side to set em up. Kind of a PITA
The one I have is friggin huge and has a seperate housing for the drive gear, once the pto is bolted to that it was almost even with the rear diff.
I still don't know what the hell it is, I know what I got it from but that's it. No tag, no stamps and all I get told is that's old. LOL.
I can't even use it as a core towards one for a 205.
Six States is one of the places we shop for PTO stuff (800) 452-9365
They deal with PTO's from pickups to semis and have a pretty good parts dept.

I called two local shops. One told me to call their supplier in Richmond and the other never called me back. I did get in touch with Chelsea and the PTO I have will not work w/ my SM465 or NP205. But I got a line on another that will work and I'm in business. Thanks for the help.
