Anyone with a front Dana 44 or Dana 60 in nor cal area let me know!
I need a 6 lug 3:73.... or 4:10's
OR an 8 lug with 3:73's 4:10's or 4:56's
whatever... let me know if you got an 8 lug frontend!

Ryan,

I've got that extra D44 housing with a 3.73 R&P in it. It needs inner and outer axles and hubs to make it complete.

It would be good for parts, or if you blew your gears (DID YOU?) /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif If you need it......it's yours. Just come and get it. I'm tired of seeing it taking up space here.....

Greg-
Thanks dude. I'll pm ya.
My driverside ball joints are getting sloppy and some play, and the axles or u joints will probally be next to go, so i figured i'd look for a D44 to tie me over until i get some 8 lug stuff from somebody. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
I was kind of looking for one with the axles too so i could have a spare 6 lug D44 and front axle shafts for the trail for now. Also need to upgrade the smaller axles to the larger 73 up type. I'd replace the balljoints on that one and maybe swap it in so i won't have to tear apart my front end for days. Or just get good at R&R' ing balljoints on the other front end and then do it to my blazer.
It would be nice to have a spare when running the 1/2 ton axles. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif I figured if i still have the 1/2 tons i could just put a spare TH-350, 12 bolt and D44 in the back of my truck and i'd be good to go for moab if anything happened. LOL! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Ryan, have you checked on the going rate ( $ ) for the 8 lug brackets and spindles? I have an extra set I would be willing to part with shortly. Let me know what you're willing to give for them.

Does it still have rotors and calipers on it? My guess is that it does since you said it is 6 lug. Where is the axle located? Are the shock brackets still in good condition or are they broke as usuall?

My friends got a Complete Dana 44, 6 lug with 3.73's, were in the Bay Area and I'm sure he'll part with it for like $100-150. Let me know if interested and I'll let him know. It's out of a 78 or 79. Later 80K20
