need driveshaft

i need a complete driveshaft including output shaft from a th400 2wd trans to a 14 bolt

I have the two-piece shaft that came out of an '80 C20 with the 400 tranny and the 14FF is still under the truck.

Can you use a two-piece shaft in yours? I know mine are in good condition but haven't checked the u-joints.

How's $40 plus the ride?

i need a single shaft.. im using this in my hot rod and want to just cut and slug my shaft rather than buy a 300 dolllar new shaft haha

I bet you could use the ends of the 2 piece shaft to make your own 1 piece. It would just require retubing which costs $125-150 up here at Drivelines Northwest.

I can prolly hook you up. Plenty of shafts and a machine shop...isn't the 400 fixed yoke? Might have S/Y from a Caddy 400.

well the th400 on the caddy was hooked up to a dana 20 and i pulled that off and have a short shaft housing for my trans but need a shaft now.. let me know what you got

Sounds like you need some way to get a fixed yoke or or slipyoke tailhousing/shaft on that thing. I traded away a couple 500s with trannies but might be able to get a tailhousing/shaft/slipyoke.

i have a short shaft tail housingbut just need a driveshaft wth a sip yoke on it ill prob jus price one out since its being a pain in the ass to find one
