1/2 ton status
Ive not posted in a long time. My 1990 Jimmy has been parked for a while. I want to replace the 5.7 TBI with a newer vortec 5.3, 6.0 or 6.2. Which one? Also, keep the stock transmission and transfer case?
It use to be my daily driver. I put a 4" skyjacker suspension lift on it with 35's. It's exactly the proportion that I want.
I'd like to redo so much. New paint, bedliner the interior...put carpet over that. New seats from newer GM truck or SUV.
Suggestions? Is there a good thread out there with details for engine swaps?
If any of you have done this to your Blazer or Jimmy...let me hear from you.
