i got the b52 kit for my 91 sub
it has 350 4l80e,vss 205 and 60/14.i'm looking at the diy shackle flip with 56" springs the rear.
what year spring packs did you use?how many leafs did you take out?
i'm looking for 6" of lift nice road manners and decent flex(family hauler/kids camper)with 37's.poser pics are fine but flex pics are better
thanks for the help

Thanks for sharing the chart. I'm guessing the 3300 lb rating of my rear springs and the fact that I have no bed or any real weight in the rear is why the rear end of mine wont move at all.

On second thought, mine may be the 2025 rated pack. Either way, no bueno.

Here's a poser flex shot of my front 52's at work. According to that chart they are the 1950 capacity springs from an 80 something 2wd. Not a burb, but I've got a similar land yacht 144+ inch wheelbase. Keep in mind the rear springs are barely moving, too stiff.

good road manners, family vehicle, flex?

links :)

Otherwise I'm thinking those 52s up front might be a bit lose on the road. I'd look into some kind of sway bar up front.

i was gona do front and rear sway bars like the currie anti sway setup(cheaper home built version)

thanks for the link
