the drivers side of the motor from front to back is 1357, pass is 2468. the firing order is 18436572, clockwise on the cap. number one on the cap points roughly at the number 1 cylinder, that should give you a good starting point

Did you screw-up? I have diagrams and pics, I'll look but everybody else will get there soon enough. What Year? #1 is left front, #8 is right rear.socalsnake said:

not HEI, #1 on the cap is on the window, or sometimes the next CW. HEI #1 is second CW from the "snout".socalsnake said:
