my brother has a 92 Chevy truck with a plastic radiator. i have one that came out of my Blazer. aluminum one. will it work in his truck or do i have to put another plastic one in it?? wasn't sure about the heat and cooling factor.

thanks guys

bout the same size and it's got a 350 Auto. same as what came out the Blazer. just wasn't sure if the plastic cooled better or something. never understood why they'd go to plastic but idk anything bout heat either. it has lines for the tranny lines to go so i figure it would work. should be the same thread right? not sure about the other holes in the front of it though and what they do exactly

Maybe for a oil cooler but the plastic is junk in my experience my 98 went through 5 of them before we figured out what the problem was.

what was the problem? i can see on the top of the radiator there is a very small hairline crack right above the top hose. nothing to worry about really i just didn't want to have to replace a damn head or intake gasket. figured it was building up pressure from somewheres and pushing it out the top hose or some stupid sh!t. glad i figured it out

Oh mine was that it wasn't grounded and the electrolights or what ever was burning a hole in the plastic. Ran a ground wire to it and it has been fine for almost 6 months which is about how long it goes so we will see.
