Ok peoples, simply looking for a brake booster check valve with a 15/32 input barb. I search using the measurements but come up empty. I can find 3/8 barb all day long, from Help or Dorman. I tried ordering one with my '85 Blazer as the search vehicle, came up 3/8". Then tried the '05 Yukon the engine came out of, which uses a 15/32" fitting off the back of the intake. I again came up with a 3/8" barb. I did one search at a local parts store and it came up "dealer only", which was odd.

I don't know how I ended up with a 15/32 check valve on my Blazer, but it has one. So.... they are out there. The CPP booster for my '68 came with the 3/8, no good. I'd much rather run the larger valve than to run an adapter that looks goofy. :doah:

Any help would be awesome.

PS> my Blazer is out of town and covered in tarps and straps, otherwise I would try to find a part number on it. :(

I tried to find one at the junkyard the other day with no luck. There were tons of 3/8 ones.:dunno:

Some of them SUV's had some kind of electric pump mounted inline with the booster vacuum. Maybe those were the ones with the larger fitting?

Was there one on the master /booster I gave you?

I don't remember unfortunately. The valve that was in it is correct. I don't remember if I swapped valves when I installed yours or if I just swapped the whole thing in. I only have my brand new booster in the garage, with no valve. I don't know what happened to my first booster I had, prolly threw it away. :dunno: I tend to throw stuff away immediately. :doah:

I've never looked at them that hard. I don't remember anything about the booster. The truck I pulled my engine from was hydro boost :haha:

Found it
The dealership wont sell me just the valve for a 2003 Tahoe, they say it only comes with the booster.

So I went across the street to a Cadillac dealer and asked for a ACDelco 179-1322. This is the valve with the larger 15/32 port on the hose side and fits the booster perfect. :D
