I'm replacing all the guts in the driver's side door ('74 K5 Blazer). It has the manual regulator. So far so good. My roadblock to success is the sash channel that holds the window and provides the channels that the rollers move back and forth in. The problem is that when I received the sash channel assembly from LMC (part #38-5942), it didn't look like the sash channel assembly that came out of my door. Mine has a rear glass guide welded on one end of the sash which looks roughly like a pie slice in overall shape. It is welded on to the sash and was obviously made that way by the manufacturer. I am wondering if a '73 door found it's way on to my '74 K5 at some time in it's past. If so, where can I find this part? LMC doesn't carry this part for '73.:dunno:

Trying giving Chevy Truck Parts down in Commerce City a call, it's used stuff buy they got a lot of it. I ran into issues building the doors for my '74, there are several different window sashes used and the roller diameters are also different. If you can't find one send me a pm, I've got some spare doors out in the shed that might have what you need.

5280k5,
I've recently moved to Las Vegas so I'm not going to see Commerce City anytime soon. Can I take a measurement of the rollers on my regulator and have you see if you have a part that matches? If so, I'll gladly pay you for the part + shipping cost to get it out to me.

Please don't make deals in the Garage, it is not allowed under the rules. My suggestion is cough up the $25 for a membership, then PM 5280k5 to make arrangements. Not trying to be a jerk here, but the rules are there for a reason, and we don't need to make more work for the mods.

Also post up a picture so that he can see if he has what you need.

Sure. I don't know if you can leave a pm or send me a message through here, if not let me know so you don't upset anyone
