I'm replacing all the guts in the driver's side door ('74 K5 Blazer). It has the manual regulator. So far so good. My roadblock to success is the sash channel that holds the window and provides the channels that the rollers move back and forth in. The problem is that when I received the sash channel assembly from LMC (part #38-5942), it didn't look like the sash channel assembly that came out of my door. Mine has a rear glass guide welded on one end of the sash which looks roughly like a pie slice in overall shape. It is welded on to the sash and was obviously made that way by the manufacturer. I am wondering if a '73 door found it's way on to my '74 K5 at some time in it's past. If so, where can I find this part? LMC doesn't carry this part for '73.
