Please take a look at the truck's flares. They were bought by the prior owner & company is out of buisness. Anyone know where I can get one???? Bone yards are pretty much out-I've been told by experienced people. One flare was destroyed in recent collision and if I can't find one, I'll be in a piss'n contest with the other guy's insurance (State Farm). They might try to say 4 new ones will better vehicle or increase retail value. I can beat this argument since the flares would have had a useful life of FOREVER were it not for their insured hitting me from behind and breaking this one.

Anyway, I see it com'n since they think a F*&% Exploder is "comparable" vehicle to a K5 & had an argument w/ them on the phone in front of the rental agency manager. Here's the link and thanks for the help.

Thanks but I've looked all through my 2K Summer Edition & don't see anything but moldings - no flares. I guess I'm missing the latest issue?

Good idea though, I'll check the other restoration catalogs. Maybe they'll have 'em.

Last time I checked on those things, they are no longer manufactured for Blazers. I have a set real similar to that. One of them was cracked but the others were in good shape. Couldn't find anyybody that made them anymore. Now they sit in my attic.

Sorry, not much help. LIke I said, I looked for a long time and couldn't find any. Hope you have better luck than me.

what about bushwacker fenderflares?
check the jc whitney catalog, they usually have stuff like that

Confederate's w/ K5's!
'85 K5: BIG BAD AND MEAN
K5: Because size DOES matter

Could you post a good pic of the other side too? The one on the top is too compressed. That would help me see if they are like the ones in my Blazer. I can probably have one of these made for you if you're interested.

Do they look like this: <A target="_blank" HREF=http://blazer79.coloradok5.com/Pic_Campo3.htm>http://blazer79.coloradok5.com/Pic_Campo3.htm</A>?

Can I email a pic to you? I'll try to both email one to you and post another pic on our website sometime tomorrow.

As far as making one, depending on expense, that's a good idea. Depending on who's making them I could maybe supply the driver's side and they could make a mirror image to fit the passenger side. That'd be awesome!

Thanks,

Here's a closeup of the front RH flare, same design style as rear. Can't get a good angle on the LH side to take a pic. Any help in finding one of these (for right rear side) is greatly appreciated!!!

I have got exactly the same flares on my 78 K5. I bought them about 1 year ago, so I am pretty sure they are still produced.
Try A&A specialties, they have a website too, but not all of their products are shown there.
I try to find out the Product Number for you, or you could contact the company, the link is:

Good luck!
