41 should be the number of teeth on the ring gear and 15 should be the number of teeth on the pinion..... I'm not believing it somehow. If you really want to know,mark your start point and count ring gear teeth and pinion teeth and divide
quite possible!..
Many 80's 10 bolts had 2.73 gears...3.08's were the most common,I've also seen 2.56 and 2.29 ratio 10 bolts!...all in the name of lower emissions and more mpgs..
I think you could also get 3.42's,3.73's,4.11's,and 4.56's factory option,in 10 bolts..

That's right.
I have an 88 with 2.73's and another set of 10 bolts with 2.73.
Not terribly uncommon....

Yep I have seen 2.73s in blazer 10bs. Holy crap that sucks. Nice thing is 3.73s should cost you about 20 bucks on ebay

I never knew they used that high of a ratio with a 700R4, no wonder the trans burns up as soon as you add slightly bigger tires

Yep guess so happy i now have 4.10s and will soon have 38s.
my 83 had 2.73 and a 700r4. it was great when I put 35's on it.
