I am planning to swap Rockwells with 44's into my 1984 K30 in a few weeks. I don't want it to be wider than necessary so I want to run as much backspacing as possible on my wheels without limiting the steering. I would really appreciate it if those of you already running rocks could provide me with some info.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

Hubs in or out:
Tire size:
Rim width:
Rim backspacing:
When turned to full lock, do the tires rub or clear the frame:
If they clear, do you know the distance between the tire and frame:

Flipping the hubs is pretty much mandatory I believe.

Since I'm buying new 20" two piece double beadlocks I can have almost whatever backspacing I want so I do not need to flip the hubs in, I can just run a lot of backspacing. I will have more brake options on the front with the hubs flipped out. I'm just worried about the tires rubbing the frame. I've taken a lot of measurements but I'd like to get some real world data from guys already running rocks.

On a related note, I may be calling you soon for one of your new pinion brake setups for the rear if going disc's gets too expensive...

I dont see a ton of people runnign rocks on here might try to search the web for more advice.
But post up youre final set up and progress i am interested for sure.
