Blew a brake hose last night in the right front. Was on my list to hardline them with a center soft line for a while. I already ordered the extended rear with the 7/16ths in T'd out to two 3/16ths lines. So the center of it is done. Obviously the soft lines will be 3/16ths until I hit the knuckle. This is where I dont know what to order.

I'm looking for a soft hose to go from the axle tubes to the caliper to accommodate turning. I'm not really savvy on doing custom brake lines etc but I know the general concept. So basically I'm wondering if anyone has a part number for a hose that is correct for a 10bolt caliper and is simple female or male 3/16ths on the other side?

They should have banjos.

You could buy a brake line with the banjo fitting on one side & a male 3/16's flare on the other side.

Or you can buy a banjo fitting with an AN flare on it. Then buy a piece of flexible line with AN on both sides. Then mount a reverse flare to AN fitting on the axle tube & run your hardline into that.

They also accommodate the movement of the caliper sliding on the pins during braking .....you have to do the same thing on the rears if you use calipers....

TSM may be of help....I'm sure they have or can make any custom hose you need...

Carquest is sending me the stock soft lines here to work so I can look at them. They should be 3/16ths female with a flange for the frame bracket and banjo on the other end no?

Yes I know you need them regardless of turning or not with calipers. I dont really think I need a custom line. The stocker should work if not an adapter should do it.

Just got my soft lines. They are correct. Factory frame to caliper lines I'll be relocating the brackets the the axle and an extended rear soft line I'll be using to go from the frame to the center of the axle.

Well the front lines definitely bigger than the back so I'm gonna say it is 1/4in.

Just put new hardlines from the master to the prop valve, then to the axles/soft lines on my 86. Fronts were 3/16, rear was 1/4.
