ECM Issues
I think mine was an easy fix. I took the huge K&N air filter off and replaced it with a basic 14" dia x 2.5" air cleaner and then unhooked the battery for a little while to rest the ecm and have only had one episode that lasted about 10 seconds. I am no tech by no means but it sounds as if the K&N was getting so much air the ecm was trying to keep up by giving more fuel so when I would slow down there was to much fuel that caused it to choke itself out. Not sure ith yours, yours sounds more in depth, especially since the chip didn't help. Hang in ther though this forum is great and you will definitely learn from these guys.
