won't i have to remove the arm for that?

NO. with crossover you only use the top of the passenger knuckle. with a complete hi-steer setup you would need the top of the driver side also, but I would recommend against hi-steer since I have seen knuckles break in half from the stress.

If you get a passenger flat top knuckle for crossover also grab the driver side since the tie-rod mounts different then on non flat top knuckles.

dropped pitman arms are available, I had one on my truck. there are also bent drag links available but with only 4" of lift you should be OK with just a dropped pitman arm.

crossover is going to be an expensive upgrade if you do not wheel your truck a lot.

cool thank i might just try the pitman arm route for as much as i wheel it i use my jeep more sorry for the four letter word here

I have a ton of half ton crap laying around... If you need a knuckle, pm me your addy and we can figure out what shipping would cost you. Id gladly let you have the stuff for free if you need it. I also may have one out there with a raised steering arm on it.
gabe

IMHO, if your starting from scratch, a raised arm will give you better turning geometry than the dropped pitman.
