need help in getting my 4 wheel drive back

heya all,

wussup, hope every1 z cool, i just got some cash so i have a plan which i need ur help in it, i've been running my k5 as 2 wheel drive for the past year coz i dont have resources or cash to ship it from out side, soo herez the deal, my front left side bearing of the hub was crushed when that axle broke a year ago, so i want to get a new one for it, where can i find it online. i need a website where i can buy it online, i dont care if i have to replace both if i need, or if they aint so expinsive, i have auto lockin hubs for my 10bolt front.. i know i wrote alot but long time since my last post, thanxxx /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif
 
the inside and the outer bearing are broken,, but thats not the problem due the fact im getting a new one i think
 
Need more info. If it is what I'm thinking, the hub bearings, then you wouldn't be able to use it as a 2WD either... The only thing I can think of is the bearing inside the spindle (the Torrington bearing). But that would mean the "outer" bearing you refer to would be one of the two hub bearings, which run even when in 2WD...
 
the car is running nice, no problems at all, i've been running on rear wheel drive for a year, so i think its the bearings which have to do with the 4 wheel linkage only, sorry for not detailing too much but im not an expert
 
If your wheel bearings were bad you wouldn't be able to drive the truck.

Take it apart and find out what is broken and we can tell you how to get the parts.
