I have a friend that is able to get me a discount on parts but he is leaving this job for another in a couple of weeks so I need to get stuff now.
So here it goes I have a 85 Blazer with a 350. I have had it for about a month and in the process of getting it fixed up. It runs and acctually very well suprisingly but the engine is covered with oil and a lot of the hoses are falling apart I need to replace. I know I am going to buy new pan gaskets, valve cover gaskets, plugs, wires, hoses but if you where me what kind of list would you put together to get from most important to least for not only the engine but entire truck. I know I can't afford all everything I would like but I would like to get a list together to work from and I am sure you guys can think of stuff that I might not of thought of. Also what would be good to have as extras for down the road?
