i was out trying to start my m1009 a few weeks ago, it was a little cold and i was giving it time to cycle the glow plugs and trying to start it. it would turn over and almost catch but not. i would quit cycling the starter to give it time to cool down and did several times. then it would not crank at all, the batteries have lots of juice in them.
i think it is something electrical, so can anyone give me a quick tip to speed up my diagnosing the problem? i have heard of soleniods under the dash and such am i am sure i can find the problem, however, i thought if someone has a pointer it might save me from looking for several hours.
it is still as it left the service, i.e. 24 volt.
thanks in advance

Do you get a click out of the starter when you turn the key? What is a little cold for you, 50 deg?

Start off checking wires and connections at the starter.

30 deg in Northern Texas twice in the last 5 years? Must be a record. Last time I was down that way it went from 70 one day to 30's and snowing the next... only problem is I headed North to Minnesota that day where it was -20 deg.
