i have a 74 blazer and i am looking for a dana 60 for the front axle. I know i need a passager side drop and every one want a ton of money for a chevy dana 60. i have seen some mid 80's dodge dana 60's for alot cheaper. for example there is one in craigslist that is in a toyota. its a high kingpin style. What mods would i have to do to it to get it to work in my truck? I do have access to a fairly large shop

your probably not going to find a "cheap" d60 front axle. i would stick w/ chevy style it will cost less to install down the road.

Just went through a rebuild on mine with some upgrades too, but still have the stock axles, and ring/pinion. I did have to replace the hubs to SRW style, but maybe add up everything you want to do, then consider buying a rebuilt one....I got 2600$ in mine now, with a lockright, 1410 yoke completely rebuilt w/ bearings/seals etc.
