Need Help on King Pin cover

I want to try the washer trick to see if it helps my death wobble. I have the four bolts of the cover removed and it doesn't want to come off. before I try to persuade it with a bigger hammer I wan't to check that I wasn't missing anything. thanks in advance.

Just tap it to persuade it a bit. All that holds it are those 4 bolts.

if the spring isn't shot it should release pretty easily with light taps. Long as you don't dent the thing up I say wack the [darn] out of it.

If the spring is still any good it will jump off with a few light taps. If you crush it parts mike has them for around $8
