need help on the history of my k5

ok i was at the GM dealership looking at a truck for my brother and the sales person (older fellow) noticed my k5 and wanted to look at it, well its a 1986 custom deluxe k5 350/sm465 well the tranny is what really threw the guy for a loop because he said he has never seen an 86 k5 with a 4-speed, because in 86 the only 4-speed blazers were made for fleet use and not private, he said you could not even order one if you wanted it. well we bought it from a dealer in 1991. so my question is where can i go to find out exactly how many 4-speed k5's were ordered for fleet use in 86? im just wanting to know how many were produced. thanks for any help

You may have just gotten one that was bought for fleet/gov't use and traded in by someone.

CaveBlazin has an 86 that has a factory 465 in it. His wasn't a fleet use vehicle.

according to the factory brochure (here) the '86 was available with a four speed everywhere but Cali.
