need help quick!!!!

ok dads truck is a 1999 gmc sierra with ball joint spacers on it. pretty much a really cheap 4 inch lift. well the ball joints went out in it and we were putting the new ones end but the tops dont seem to fit. they are to short. the part numbers from gm and napa are the same for a stock truck. so my question is, did they make longer ball joints for a 1999 sierra that has a ball joint spacer in it.

There are a couple different ball joints that bolt in but have the wrong taper, It's pretty common for lift companies to use a Moog K6292. It has a pretty long shank to help downtravel. Hope that helps!

also READ the directions on them for the new ones. the ifs stuff hase gone to a indexed ball joint on the upper control arm on the newer stuff. not sure on the older.

but if put in wrong thay will not move and will snap off. this is only for the press in ball joints that i know of on the upper a-arm.

ehh dads not a very good mechanic lol turns out his hub was shot, it hade about 1/2'' of play in it so a new hub and its all good now. thanks for the help guys. haha made me mad when i got thaer and grabed the hub and it moved that far lol i was giving instructions over the phone on how to put in ball joints and it wasent even that lol owell i guess carpenters arent mechanics lol
