need help... Re: filters...

I just threw my old K&N air filter on my 84 Blazer and I can't keep her at idle... I havent got the crankcase filters on yet but what do I need to do? do I need to clog any lines off the original filter? she sounds like she is running great but after she is warm and drops down to idle, she stalls... this may be a stupid question but any info will help...

try blocking the original vacume lines that should help also what is the condition of the filter dose it need to be cleaned?

I cleaned it about a week ago and it's just been sittin in my garage since then....

i would try pluging off the vacume lines then and check for any other vacume leak's you might have bumped another vacume line and didnt know it
