need help w/ engine again.

hey all. so Im in the process of removing my engine to put another in, But I cant seem to get to the 7 bolts. That hold the engine and trans bolted together..

I have about. 4 feet of extensions. but How do I get the bolts?

The engine is still in, trans still in. Transfercase still on the trans

i usually use alot of extensions, and a wobble type socket up near the bolt, then start from near the back of the trans, above the crossember and feed it up to the bolt head.

I just use a standard combo wrench on the upper two bolts and a deep socket with an extension on the bottom couple

so i got the engine out.... Help of two small friends with small hands. There were only 4 bolts out of seven. .

what trans and motor is this?
I've only seen 6, there isn't a top one that I know of, but I don't know everything either

okay sorry i was on my cellphone.. hard to type on it :P

But yes, there was 6 bolt holes. 4 bolts present.

it's a th350/350/203 setup.

But anyway, i got the engine out. it was just really stuck on the dowels. used a small prybar, and got it out. I had to have two skinny friends come help. They actually got the top bolts. from the top of the engine bay. with a regular wrench.

But I still need to swap the Pulley, flexplate buy a new Tstat. and swap the housing over. The engine I just bought has a chrome one on.. you know the garbage ones :P
