Need help, wheel backspacing

I have an 87 3/4 ton. got a dana 60, fitting 39.5 irok what kind of backspacing do you guys run so steering box stays out of the way? or do you just adjust your steering stops way out? Thanks guys, Patrick

I'm running 2 1/2 inch backspacing to put the rims outside of the truck some. It also helps with running 15 inch wheels on the D60 brake caliper.
