Hey Guys,
Please help me. The speedshop which did my regearing said the calipers should be replaced. They were a little tight and the pistons appeared almost all the way out. They definitely have some mileage on them. I may try and bleed them and see what happens, but I've been trying to see how much new calipers would cost. If I go to www.advanceautoparts.com, vehicle: 83 K30 Chevrolet Pickup, Brake Caliper, I come up with 28 different caliper options ranging from $39.48 to $187.77 apiece. What gives?
Does anyone know the GM Part # for Dana 60 Calipers?
Are there different piston sizes? If so, which one is best?
What should I pay for new/reman calipers? I'd like to get through www.gmpartsdirect.com.
Thanks!
Manny
