guys coming to look late sunday and giving me good money for it to. i hope. 88 350 tbi burban. all new tune up parts on the motor. was ok. started it today. runs like crap. worse then before. most of the parts on there are from a company called master parts. i went the cheap way because i wasn't going to keep it. think i might have screwed myself. a friend said those parts are cheap junk. the motor hesitates when i hit it. just about stalls when i hit hard. yea this suck

thanks

Get busy and fix it. If you know what to replace to get it running better, do it.

Sounds like maybe a fuel supply problem. WHy did you put the new parts on in the first place? Did the problem get worse or better afterwards?

no idea what to replace. i have some time now. he cant come till mis week now. thanks god. when i got it. it never ran right. so i did a complete tune up. ran great. started it for the first time in a while. ran like crap. any idea? im pretty sure its getting fuel

Make sure that the bolts on your TBI are tight and that you don't have a leak between the TBI and the Intake Manifold. I had this problem and it caused my truck to run like crap.

How long has this vehicle sat? If it hasn't run in about 6 months or so the gas is bad and needs to get changed. Bad gas can do all kinds of damage to an engine.

i never new that. the gas is old. sat for a few mouths and about a years before i got it.

Well get busy and remove all the old gas and then pour a bunch of fresh gas in and see what happens. You might have injectors that are gummed up from the bad gas which could possibly need some injector cleaner to help clean them.

ok think i have a fast way to get it the gas out with a pump i found thanks
