Hey all..new here just got my first square body and im a little confused on what front axel i have. See..i need to do the wheel bearings but every video on youtube and every picture in the manual is different than mine..6 or 8 lug. The diff is 10 bold and its got balljoints not kingpins so i would assume dana 44. Its an 8 lug front end but if you look closely in the pic my front hubs have a second set of bolts just outside the hubs...what axel is this and how the hell do i change wheel bearings on this? Is it the same as any other or do i pull those bolts too. Thanks again for the help.

You have a D44 with external mount locking hubs. Once you remove the 3/8" diameter bolts holding the locking hub to the bearing hub you will find the typical 4 prong lock nuts holding the bearings on.

For parts, use a '76 K20 as the application and you get the right parts.

Thanks for the help!! So i get all parts for that axle from a 76 k20 including wheel bearings right? Thanks alot really appreciate it!
