i need to replace the clutch in my jimmy but i have no access to lift, so that leaves me to doing it in my driveway....how hard is it to do all the labor on the driveway, and how long would it take? now i have is two jacks a set of jack stands

If the truck is stock height I'd say you'll need to jack it up some so you can get the tranny out from underneath. With 33's and a 4" lift I was able to get mine out from underneath without jacking it up (with the shifter removed).

The only special tool I'd say you need is a tranny jack, and you can usually rent those. The clutch alignment tool comes with the clutch kit.

If you remove the tranny tunnel then you'll have lots of head room to do the clutch disc and pressure plate once the tranny and T-case is out of the way. I'd try and remove the tranny and T-case together and leave them together if possible.
