Ok first i have a 1977 blazer it had the factory set up,I found a dana 44 and 14 bolt rear end. That dana 44 matched up with everything except the brake lines where they mount to the calper appears to be diffrent.Ok heres the first question when can i buy where the shock bolts to on the axle he cut it off and destroyed them.Ok second the rear end the u joint on my driveshaft is way to small should i buy a bigger u joint and use the same driveshaft or do i have to get a new driveshaft.Second the top plates where the u bolts go up into does anyone know where i can buy these my old u bolts and plates will not work. Also how do you remove the pitman arm if you dont have the tool and will the one from my 10 bolt front axle fit on the dana 44 its look the same. Thanks guys appreciate it

you can get some basic shock tabs and ubolt plates from DIY4X.com
we all highly recommend him from experience, myself included.

first what was wrong with the stock 77 calipers? they will just swap right over.

if you had a 12 bolt rear i am not sure if theres a conversion ujoint out there. but it is a ujoint with two different sized caps, one pair for your stock driveshaft and one pair for the new 14 bolt. if it helps, your new 14 bolt ujoint size is 1350. i think the 12 bolt is 1330.

ar eyou referring to the pitman arm connected to the steering box or the curved steering arm coming off of the axle?
it sounds like the steering arm on the axle cause they are the same. just soak it in PBblaster and beat the **** out of it with a BFH.

if you mean the pitman arm i have just pryed mine off going around it and prying on it. it was really easy.
