Seems my injectors are not firing. And the truck won’t start.
I took the fuel pump out of the tank and mounted a holly in line on the frame. The new pump did not resolve the issue but at least it’s out of the tank. I also replaced the ignition control module. The fuel is making it up to the carb or whatever it is on a tbi.

I have been doing searches all morning but still have not resolved the issue.
Somebody mentioned that if the ecm does not see a spark it will not fire the injectors.

With a code reader on. service engine flashes once then twice

Just got my new drive shafts in from HA and wanna go for a rip.

What might be causing my injectors not to fire?

That code is just a 'hand shake'. Ignore it.
Check that you are getting power to the injectors in start as well as run. Could be a fuse or wiring problem if you've power at the injector. If I remember correctly there should be constant power to the injector which is then triggered by the ecu.

90 with tbi
What would be the best way to check for power to the injectors. I do not have any diag tools.

Done for the day. This has got to be something stupid.
Battery and service engine soon light stay on . It will not fire when I put some gas in the carb and turn it over.

New icm
New cap and router
Tested with different ecm
Alternator new about a month ago when engine was swapped
New coil
Tested with different battery
No codes
Tested with injectors and housing (not shore what its called) from parts truck

Seems to me at this point that my injectors are probably ok. Assuming that no spark will tell the ecm not to open the injectors

Pick-up coil maybe?

i was thinkin the same thing, had that happen to mine awhile back, no spark, did the same thing with swapping out parts, then just pulled the dist and found the burnt out coil...

been fine with THAT anyways, ever since

I vote pick up coil also. Code 12 with no fuel out of the injectors is usually either a dist module or pickup coil
