need help with my quad

so i bought a 04 yamaha raptor 660r and i dont know how to put the damn thing in reverse. it has a knob to turn up and it tired it in neutral and in first, with the clutch in and out, just about everything i can think of. anyone know?

it has been a while but , in nuetral pull in the clutch, turn knob, while holding knob shift down to first. i think thats how it goes. (used to run a bike shop about 6 years ago)

haha thanks a million. thats how you do it just you have tio shift down twice
so put in neutral, pull in clutch, turn nob, shift down onece (does nothing) shift down again, reverse!!! thanks man

i knew it was along those lines. oh, when the starter clutch goes up, if you need any tips let me know, i think i have done about 50 of those things. glad i could help!

back in the day (last time was 03-04) i raced some at buds, but i have a two year old son and my free time is about 0, so i have taken a break from riding/racing untill he is old enough to get into it with me. i get down that area some still, hit up capital raceway once or twice a summer and actually just did a job in bowie about a month ago.
