I'm looking to get a scanner for my fleet of trucks also a fuel pressure gauge. Are these good selections or are there better ones I should look at?

I have an 88 k5, 90 sub, 89 crew cab, 2 jeeps that have Howell TBI kits and a 2012 yukon xl. I believe these will work on all.

Actron CP9690 Scanner

OTC 4480 Fuel pressure gauge.

Thanks for help or suggestions.

OBD2 is after 1995, will not work on Square Bodies.

OBD1 all you need is a paper clip to jump two pins. I would only be worried about getting an obd2

I know about the paper clip.

I'm having problems with one of the Howell TBI units at the moment and they need to know what info info is shown on a scanner, along with the fuel pressure.

Tried using the scanner at 2 auto parts stores and no luck. Took it to a shop and theirs said a bad ground. I dont want to keep driving back and forth trying to get the info or not get it .

I figured having all these trucks its probably something I should have bought a while ago, and I know crap about them. Tech at Howell said he had heard the Actron I listed was a good one, I was just hoping to find someone who might be able to confirm that before I buy it.
