Hi All,
Let me start by saying a huge thank you in advance, all of your knowledge is invaluable. If you've seen any of my previous dumb posts - You know- I know, ZERO POINT ZERO, but I'm trying.
Doing two trucks simultaneously and a lack of fore mentioned knowledge, some issues have caught up. The motor/ tranny etc. is awesome, so I just focused on paint, trim fitment, interior upholstery, which honestly I'm good at.
Fitting the carpet, side panels etc., and we just realized there's an issue with the transfer case shifter - not sure if that's the right name. It appears that it was cut/welded in some point in the last 50 years. If you added the standard T/C shifter would it literally sit under the dash.
The other thing I don't understand is the there are 90 degree flange for the gasket ring - I'm guessing to attach the trim ring. Help!
Having issues uploading Pix. I try again.
Thank you

what year is truck ? Do you know what t case you have in your truck ? If not pretty easy to look for tag on t case it will have the model stamped on it. there are several different t case and they use different shifters.
I don't recall any being under the dash.
Uploading pictures is a premium member thing, well worth it, our I wouldn't be one.

Pics would help too.
Of the Tcase, and the shifter setup.
