Need help with thread size quick please

Well I got all my x-over stuff and Crane diff cover back from the powder coating but the numbnuts goobered the threads up with pain on the tie rod on one end. What is the pitch of TRE threads? I have a feeling they are 7/8-18...Is this correct? I need to get a tap to clean it up so my juck will go together...

cool...any ideas where I can get that tap for less than $50 (the cheapest I have found it for at McMaster)
