Need help with tranny swap

I am looking into converting my 700R4 over to a manual, i would preferably go with the SM465, my 700R4 is mated inbetween a 350ci and a NP208, the SM465 is mated to a 350ci out of a 80 GMC cab and chasis 1 ton dump truck, so i dont know what t-case is on it if any. My question is, is there a write up, and where and what would be involved in doing this?

1/2 to 3/4 ton convesion...D44

i need some help....i have a 83 1/2 ton and i just picked up a D44 my truck is lifted 4" what will i need to get this conversion done? im talking about u joint step up... and if im going to need different leaf springs and ect..

C&C 30 is prolly a 2WD, so that SM465 will have the wrong tailshaft on it to mate to a t-case... I think.
