how well does it seal?
What problems did you run into you didnt expect?
any major fitment areas i need to know of?
what is all this talk bout extra braces under the body? i cant seem to find any pics of mysterious braces...?

I havent done a swap but know about the extra bracing. You loose a lot of support and rigidity in the tub when you chop the cab off (Full verts have rocker boxes to keep things stiff so its not a problem). So you have to add something to stiffen things up, a cage or some rectangle tube welded in as rockers will work

would rectangle tubing welded from front tub mount to the 2nd tub mount and tacked ever so often to the floor ..inside of the rocker pushed up against the underside/bottom of the floor do the same as what i see people doin when they replace the rocker w/tube...i really don't want to cut my rockers out!

I don't really know, it might. You just need to give the cab some support to keep it from flopping around. Maybe some who has done it will chime in, supersize75k5 has done it as well as cegusman

I read somewhere that it wasnt to big a deal not to have it, but why risk it. I got my 74 windshield frame in the shed, im to much a chicken **** to start cutting:D

i have done it too my 84 k5 work out ok! sent me your phone number an we can talk i will explane what i have done, and the flexing problems that came with cutting off cab.wish i good sent photo but don,t have acess too high speed internet.and don,t know how too send them! i have look for the rocker box for a long time and seen them here lately nice pictures i will try and rember where and post the guy when i find it.

i think i would like a simple roll bar and that would work i currently lookin at a 75 full vert, gotta go see it today... man said if i want it i can cut all i want off of it for a case of bud light! but he also said the top is crap so i will probably hunt up a top before i cut mine
