i have a 87 k5 with 5.7 i all so have a eletric fan from a 93 firebirdwith the 3.8. what i need to now is will this fan cool my motor

not likely.... even a good dual fan set up will not pull as much air as the mechanical fan will

I run dual electrics from a minivan, and it cools it just fine.

i wouldnt trust it to at all man...thats alot of coolant in the system... id run atleast 2 fans from something else besides a transam
