Need info quick, Anyone have Bench Seat in Front?

Ok got an offer on my seats I've been debating on putting a bench in the front of my blazer out of a late model ext. cab so the pass. side would still slide for rear access. Anyone here done this? Is there any problem with clearance of the tcase shifter? thanks guys, I"m going tommorrow morning to look at seats so the quicker the better on replys thanks.

Make sure if you alter your seat that if the one you get tilts forward that is does not hit your windshield....TRUST ME!!....
It is a spendy mistake an is not very high on the convience scale either when you put the back rest through your shinny new windshield.

i did mine that way, got 40\60 bench set out of a 92 chevy, then i used some metal plates and used theold bolt holes to screw the plate down then i bolted the seats to the plates where i wanted them to be. with the transfer case you will need to put a plate over it sideways so that that the bolts won't hit it in the center,
