Need Locker Install Help Near Baltimore, MD... I'll Buy the Beer!!

My lock right just showed up for my front 60 and I could use a hand installing it if anyone was will to swing by and give me a hand, My 60 represents the the one of the biggest investments on the rig b/w the initial cost of the axle, the ballistic arms, bronze bushings, solid diff cover, 35 spline outers and of course the lockright and I really don't want to f it up with a bad install. i'll buy the beer and grub plus whatever else is fair

I also want to weld my 14 bolt and again i'm not very familiar with the internals of axles and any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

One piece of confidence for you, from what I've researched and heard, the install is extremely straight forward and should take just under an hour.

I can trailer it, I don't have it buttoned up enough at this point to drive farther than a couple miles from home. Where in VA are you?

Thanks man. More than anything I want someone to look over my shoulder during the install to make sure everything is done correctly. I've never messed with this stuff before

I hadn't seen that. It really doesn't look bad, how do you guys feel about grinding the ring gear?

I've heard that it depends on what ring pinion you have. You may not have to grind.

Did you ever get the chance to do this install? I'm just finishing up mine... took me most of the day.

Problem 1: Roll Pin removal. I had to make my own punch. But if you have a 8inch long 3/16" punch... you will be good to go.

Problem 2: Had to remove the hub on the passenger side to move the axle shaft out about a quarter inch. I couldn't slide the driver side locker drive gear in there without doing this.
