I'd wait to ask Kert in the AM but looking for an answer asap. On the DIY Cross-tied shackle he sells can someone tell me how wide they are. Not side to side but since they are 3/8" thick and 6" (depending what you order) eye to eye I am trying to find out how wide it is. Since the crosstie is 1" thick can I assume the width is about 1.5" or 1.75" wide???? Am I clear on my question???? Thanks
