need more/better suburban dome light

Both of my suburbans 90/91 have roof console, with the regular dome lights and then the map lights. Then there is the light on the rear a/c box. Has anybody had luck with better bulbs or do I just need to add some more lights?

I just added two more lights to the rear area, one on each side, cut out small holes and mounted some nice flush type mount lights in there, patched in to the factory light.

maybe LED if available
and check grounds
otherwise add some new spiffy ones

I put aftermarket LEDs in mine and they are the awesome. Not a direct replacement. Just a couple universal domes. I don't have a headliner in mine. I just mounted em where the stock ones went...

I swapped the bulbs in my blazer to LED and they are BRIGHT.

I ended up taking apart the roof console, and used foil tape behind and around the dome light bulbs. This mad a significant differance.

Or go to a pick and pull and find a modern mini van or suburban or something with a nice new multi light set up.
