Just had all 4 ball joints and my entire tie rod replaced and they said that my hubs needed replaced. The Jimmy is a 77 with a 203 case with a Mile Marker part time kit that was dealer installed. So my question is do I just go with Warn hubs or are there better ones out there. And are the Premium hubs that much better? Thanks in advance.

There are better with a large price tag. If just non serious off road, I would go with the Warn premiums.

Most of my 4x4 time is for work down in the creek. Lots of loose sand, gravel and clay pockets that try to swallow 40 ton scrapers. And muddy roads in the mountains. Thats about it.

I have been around several sets of the Warn economy ones without problems, the premium ones operate nicely, but take more degrees to turn.

Premium is all metal. You are right as they are 9/10ths of a tun.l

Thanks. Premium hubs are supposed to be here today sometime and should be able to get them installed in the next week or two.
