need opinion on electrical

Got an 85' C35 and the headlight dimmer switch went out on it. I was wondering if it would be easier to replace the switch or wire in a new switch somewhere else (like the push button ones on the floor in the old trucks). Thanks

Plug and play is always easiest. Just replace the switch, no need to re-invent the wheel.

Long story short, i ended up using all the original wiring and connector and mounted a push buttton style switch on the floor to act as a new dimmer switch. Works great and now i have headlights.

Good job, I like the switch better on the floor anyway. I bet it was cheaper that way, too.
