I am thinking about getting one of these for storage. Just looking for oponions on what you guys think. I am looking for something big and lockable for going topless over the summer.Project Mighty Mouse here.

I'm not crazy about the price either but you start adding up the cost of what will be in it then it looks cheap. I carry tools in the back now that cost alot more then that box does so I want something secure.

I don't like how it states to call for S&amp;H.... that's not a good sign! You weld right? I bet you could make something custom for your truck for far less and maybe even stronger.....

I have thought of making my own but it is hard enough just to find time when I can work on the truck let alone adding a project like this.

Hey wayne, It's the cost that gets me too, so I thought you might check around for a local shop that carries truck boxes for contractors. I've seen them in all shapes and sizes and who knows you might find something even more usefull at a cheaper price.

Have you looked at Under Bed boxes? That's what I run. It opens to the rear so I can strap gear to the top but still get at the gear in the box. I was able to order it made to measure. It's 48 inches wide, 20 inches deep and 18 inches tall. On the 1.5 inch bushings it sits on, its level with the bed rails. Deliverd it was around $250. Doesn't have a drawer but it is weather tight to the point it even keeps dust out. Find a place that sell truck gear (as in Semi) and they should be able to order it for you.

i know that i probably replied to the wrong person, especially since wayne is asking about tuffy. sorry wayne. but has anybody tried any of there other products like the center console and the speaker boxes for the wheel wells?

If it can't be broken then I haven't had it.

<font color=blue>I have the stereo center console, I like it a lot. It has a lot of room and it locks, which is important on an open-top truck.

I know there are a few guys here with the center console. I am planning on getting one but I am looking for something in the back for tools and such. I have never heard anything bad about their center console.

Grim, I will have to look into them. Sounds like a cheaper way to go.

I got that over sized drawer and love it. I found the cheapest place on the net and went to 4wheel parts and got them to match it. Works great. It holds alot of stuff.
