If you have a 73 to 87 GM fullsize cab in better shape than mine, I'll pay $50 per patch panel plus shipping. I'm in Oakland CA 94605

See the pictures for exact size of panels needed.

-Door threshold, drivers side.

-Lower corner of windshield, passenger side.

Just torch, sawzall or chew out a piece large enough for me to cut down and patch my truck.

Thanks,

Eric M.

not to burst your repair plans but the few i have seen with way less in the glass gasket area turned south real quick when the glass was pulled and stripped down to bare metal to start repair .

the only 1 i ever fixed was the cab on my 2wheel burn build .

I did the other side years ago and found just what you have mentioned. Yes, I'm going to pull the windshield and gasket and am planning on cutting out a chunk all the way into the dash area ..... unfortunately. The only way I can justify this to the wife is to claim, "It'll be good practice with the Mig welder!"
She thinks I should buy a new truck. She's probably right.

That windshield rust likely runs down the a pillar support. Have you considered a full cab swap? That would be less work.

Hey Eric
Is this a pick up regular cab?
Definitely get a cab and swap over everything.
Much cheaper and better in the long run.
If it was a k5 I would have the tub for you but I scrapped the last regular cab I had.

Hey! Long time no talk.
Yes, regular cab. Too much work to swap cabs. This is a work truck. I could probably weld in panels and Bondo in a weekend. I'd probably rattle can the finish. Then .... wait for it to rust somewhere else!
