BFG is an awesome tire for a DD, i'd post a pic of mine but they are only 33's.

Do you like them? Any complaints?

Love them, especially for the price. I bought a set of 5 (H2 takoffs) for $225, I really didnt want 17" rims but I think it turned out ok. I offroad less than you but it does fine for the wheeling I do. Keep them rotated and you'll see 50k miles out of them too

dirtwarrior17 - Who are you, the new Tim? If the man wants to eat a dog$hit sandwich, let him eat a dog$hit sandwich. Be quiet if you have nothing to contribute.

Sorry to see your thread getting jacked up by dirtball, and I apologize for not having any pics.

I have 35's on my burb.I mostly drive it on the street.
They are decent off road but are great on the street.

the bfg's are basically slicks in the mud because the treads are too small and don't clean but thats why they aren't a mud tire. I don't see why you would go a/t and be limited to the dry stuff instead of going tsl and get the best of both worlds.... or even mud terrain bfgs

your choice

i've just seen tons of guys who run bfg at's and wish they got something else...

like i said its his choice im not telling him to get anything.

Ok. this is a CUCV M1008 pick up and not a Blazer, but it gives an idea of the stance with 35".
These are BFG AT 35x12.50R16.5 on 8.25 Daytona steelies. Its my DD, and for road use summer and winter is perfect, plus it's ok for the occasional weekend party on the dry river bed.
I had a smaller rig with Tsl's as trail toy.

not a blazer but close enough. 35/12.5/15 on stock 15x7 steel wheels. 4 inches of lift.

when i first got the truck the bfg allterrains came on it. i was actually really supprised how well they did on the trails. they arnt the greatest mud tire but for a daily driver/weekend wheeler id highly recomend them. i never got stuck with them/ ive even gone through some mud that a k5 with 4 inches and 35" tsl's got stuck in, probly cuz i just put it in 4low and held it to the floor:D, but yea they are a good all around tire

Well I know you said ATs but heres some MTs 35-12.5-15 on 10" wide rims. I figured you would want to see it at ride hight so this was like the only picture.

ATs are the shiznitty on the street and even on the trail they aren't bad. Lots of guys run them here in the snow, they kind of suck on ice honestly I don't know of a tire in this size that does well with that though....

I love BFG A/T. They are the best in their class IMO. They wheel better than any other Big O, Dunlop, Firestone, etc, A/T tire that costs similar $. No they're not mudders, duh. They also ride better on pavement than most light truck "street" tires I've ever driven on, including the BFG versions like Long Trail(crap).
And they're quiet, too. I remember reading an article a few year ago in 4 wheeler about BFG A/T vs M/T, they scored almost identical, although the MT were slightly better in mud(big surprise) and the AT were quieter, better in ice & snow, and stopping. As soon as I switch to 8lug wheels my burb will be getting a set of them. I'd say you can't go wrong with BFG A/T on a DD.

There's a couple more in our custom rigs section on our site in my sig line. I've been really happy with this bfg at's in general, this is my 3rd set, I wore the others near the cords on my K5.
Lift on the 'burb is a 3" suspension with a 1" body, just to give you some reference.
