ok guys, down to crunchtime and i want to be driving this week.

i have this yellow top optima

http://www.optimabatteries.com/publish/optima/americas0/en/config/product_info/commercial.html

which is a lot bigger than a stock battery.

my friend gave me a heavy duty bracket whic i extended 2 inches and ithought i was golden until i realized that if i closed my hood or bounced too much, the posts would hit the hood.

i cna move the battery box down , but then it would be on an angle, so im not sure if thats a good way to go.

i would like to keep it in the same area . i also moved the overfill resevoir an inch or so, but thats not effecting it.

please help me out guys, lets see some pics!!!

Dry cell batteries can to mounted at any angle. Couldn' you flip the battery on its side and have good hood clearance?

I also have the D31. Awesome battery!

But I have fiberglass tilt front clip, so I had to totally re-locate my tray.I made my own custom tray.
