Need pics of front speakers in doors, kickpanels, door panels, etc please

Just like a lot of people recently, I have been thinking about putting bigger speakers in the front of my K5, but would like to see some pics of locations, and appearances that other have done.

How did you end up attaching the panel you made to the door panel?

Thanks Ross. I attached them with some 3" inch screws (about 4 of them) THen the speakers are screwed in the masonite with 1" screws. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

Man you guys are kickin a$$ at these speaker installs, also a good job Tightwork. Did you have to cut a hole in your door panel for those to fit?

ya, the mag on the back of the speaker was close to the window gears, just a piece of 1/2 pine stock, w/carpet over it. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Heres the ones the previous owner put in
Driver's Side
Passenger's Side
Note how the drivers side is closer to the front of the door than the passengers side is. I was having problems with the passenger side shorting out becuase it is so far back, but a little electrical tape and tweaking fixed that.
