...for your Hi-Lift jack.

Need ideas to fab something to hold a jack. Con-Ferr is no longer in business and they had the brackets I was after. If I can't find any, I may just have to "copy" theirs.

Two 1/2" bolts, flat stock tabs 4-6" long, and a long skinny space :D

Actually I used channel for my tabs, 'cuz I had it handy and it has the extra strength in two dimensions. I also used 1/2" all thread for whatever reason. Oh, they're extra long 'cuz I drilled through one to put a lock through it. Keeps the honest people honest anyway.

And that middle thing is to keep the noise/vibration on the handle to a minimum ... I've since replaced it with the Daystar isolator as it's really a clever piece of engineering, has no moving parts to fail, and was cheap :D

Obviously most folks won't put it on top of the (lack of) tailgate, but you could do it on a bedrail onto a piece of angle iron, or onto a rollbar, or whatever.

I mounted mine like dremu did, but mounted it to my cage. I took regular nuts & welded a 4" long 1/4" round stock to the nuts so I could get it tight, but wouldn't need a wrench to get it off. I use a rubber bungee strap to keep mine from rattling. I also used an extra set of nuts to put on the bolts before the jack to space it away from the cage. I'll see if I can get you some pics later today.
